Bladder control!
It's something nobody wants to talk about. Some people are embarrassed to purchase either the pads or underwear. There are actual companies that will deliver these products to your door. Why are we embarrassed? It's crazy! I am not embarrassed to purchase these products. My mother used to live in an senior complex. When I would purchase pads for her I had to make sure they were in bags. Even at 70 she didn't want anyone to know she used them. WHY? I am great full that the products are available. I can't imagine how my daily life would be without my incontinence pads.
I have tried all the brands. First I have to say I personally have never found a store brand or generic incontinence pad that actually worked. For me the new Poise in the purple bags are FANTASTIC! If you want the curved, thickest and longest then you buy the package that has 27 pads in the bag. I get coupons on EBAY sometimes for $1.50 off. People clip them and sell 10 or 20 coupons for around $1.50. Make sure you see when they expire.
Ok now a funny story about me. As most people I was teased in elementary school. I was chunky. My name is Christine but back then I went by Chrissy. Maybe some of you already know where this is going. Lol! Kids seem to find a word that rhymes with a name that they can tease the other kid/kids with. As I said I went by Chrissy and you guessed it....I was called Chrissy Pissy! I can laugh about it today. Even more that after 30+ years I am now truly "Chrissy Pissy"! Laughter its a great thing. I do not worry about if someone I know sees I have incontinence items in my shopping cart and neither should you. Life is too short to worry what others may think or say about us. Just enjoy each day to the fullest. Have a blessed day everyone!
